Mental Health

Communicare Adult Day Health Care offers a Caregivers Support Group as a part of our mental health services, the support group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 6pm to 7pm. This group is open to anyone who is caring for a loved one with special needs.

The support group provides a safe and supportive environment for caregivers to share their experiences, learn from others, and get support. The group is led by a trained facilitator who can provide information and resources on a variety of topics related to care-giving, including:

• Stress management
• Coping with difficult emotions
• Communicating with your loved one
• Finding respite care
• Accessing financial and legal assistance

The support group is also a great place to meet other caregivers and build relationships. Knowing that you are not alone in this journey can make a big difference.

If you or someone you know is caring for a loved one with special needs, I encourage you to attend the Caregivers Support Group at Communicare Adult Day Health Care. It is a valuable resource for caregivers, and it can make a big difference in your life.
